9:25pmPST - Light snow showers, but enough to accumlate at this time on the road, decks and light coating on the trees so far.

11:30amPST - Breezy, clearing skies with scattered snow flurries. Chain control is up from Panorama Point (below Crestline) up into Hwy. 18 except for 4 wheel drive. 4 wheel drive must show that they have chains. Approximately 4" of snow overnight.

6:00pmPST - Moderate and light snow flurries. Probably alot more tonight. Currently 30 degrees with light winds. Roads are extremely icy.

8:00pmPST - Extreme heavy fog, tree rain and wind, Highway 18, on the rim.
8:30pmPST - rain, extreme heavy fog, 20-35 mph winds, High 18, on the rim.
" Be careful on the Rim. Probably rocks falling. "

3:00pmPST - Rain and Snow mixture, roads are very slippery. Rim Forest.

7:30pmPST - Winds are picking up, but not steady yet. Alot of rock and falling debris from trees. Heavy fog. I would say maybe 20 ft visibility on Hwy. 18 on the Rim. Be careful out there.

8:00pmPST - Moderate to heavy snow. Do not even think about coming into the mountains in this area unless you have chains even for 4x4. Dangerous conditions. Low visibility. Please know the roads and the turns if you come up here.
10:00pmPST - Just announced, Rim of the World school district is closed for tomorrow. Big snow flakes at this time.

11:00amPST - Light snow showers at this time. At least 18" of snow overnight. Looks like more coming in later. Chains are required, but not for 4x4's, but must show that they have chains. CHP is making everyone show or have chains. Dangerous conditions.

8:00pmPST - Roads are still very hazerdous. Hopefully some of this rain will melt the ice. Alot of minor to major accidents in the Rim area. Unless you must go out, I wouldn't advise at this time.

Light drizzle, heavy fog on the Rim and also in Twin Peaks in areas. Cold weather for this time of year. Current temp. 39.7.

From extremely hot over the last weekend to very cool and foggy. Could be foggy on the Rim, but not necessary in Lake Arrowhead. Depends on how deep the marine layer goes and with this new low pressure coming in.
