December 25, 2007
5:00amPST - High winds ramped up rapidly starting just before 1:30am. Had 7 peak gusts of 30mph during this period of time, and one peak gust of 34mph at 3:24am. OWS Comment : Santa Ana Winds.
October 21, 2007
4amPDT - Winds picked up about 2am but peaked between 4am-5am. Had a peak gust of 30mph at 4:17am. That is significant for this end of the valley because of the NW-SE orientation of the valley which impedes most Santa Wind effects.
1pmPDT - Winds really picking up....sustained 20-26mph...Gusting to 29mph.
November 23, 2007
2:30pmPST - Several gusts were peaking up to 30mph between 2pm and 3:30pm with a max peak of 32mph at 2:23pm.
January 6, 2008
12:00pmPST - Heavy rain and pea sized hail falling.
January 13, 2008
1:30pmPST - Winds really picking up since noon. Sustained 25-30mph with peak gust of 34 mph at 1:28pm (so far) OWS Comment: Note that the NWS and all media outlets said this would be a rather weak event. OWS is the only one that prepared a forecast for strong winds.
