CONCERNING STORM INITIATION.

During the morning the TPC Tornado Model showed a very slight risk tornado potential outline in Central MN. Instability is taking hold and lifted index / CAPE values are up. At this time an advisory would be issued for the values developing in the area. However this will wait a bit longer to see further storm development before jumping the gun on an area outside of many forecaster's zones for today. I'd like to keep it friendly and wait another hour on developments near the outlined area.
If storms form, rotating updrafts are possible in the Central MN area with hail / wind being most probable. An Isolated tornado cannot be ruled out due to some of the dynamics in place.
